The WeHo News is reporting that sign guy Mike McNeilly has gathered enough signatures to put his proposed West Hollywood Tax Billboard Act up for a vote next spring. "The municipal measure calls for taxing billboards and supergraphics at a 7 percent rate and “expanding the area for one or two tall wall signs on other major commercial thoroughfares.” Some people call the initiative a Trojan horse, to which McNeilly vehemently disagrees.
