Dennis Hopper's estate, which is full of all kinds of Brian Murphy and Frank Gehry buildings, went up for sale in July asking $6.245 million. We heard in August that Hopper's estate needs to raise money to cover debts, so they must really want to unload the property, which includes 7,440 square feet on just a third of an acre in Venice. The price has come down twice--in August it was chopped to $5.194 million and last week it was chopped to $4.799 million. Well, the man was known for his love of choppers (groan, sorry).
