Some very confident park supporters in San Bernardino are inviting an Inland Empire-East Berlin comparison and bringing a 6,000 pound slab of the Berlin Wall to the city's new Ronald Reagan Park. KPCC reports: "Park supporters bought the historic slab through a German auction house for $2,500. It cost nearly twice that to have the 11-by-4 foot edifice shipped to Southern California." The Berlin Wall is becoming a regular sight around here--ten panels were exhibited across from LACMA last year. [KPCC, image via]
