Two years ago, this 1962 Neutra-designed fixer in the hills of Sherman Oaks hit the MLS at $819,000. The listing assured prospective buyers that the house "still retains the footprint, bones and feel of the original design." By April 2008, the house was sold for $700,000. Now it seems the house is available for rent. Popping up on Craigslist is this ad for a two-bedroom, two-bath: "Architect Richard Neutra designed this exquisite stilt home off Beverly Glen and Mulholland with magnificent 180 degree views of the valley." Without an address or pic, we can't be sure but it seems likely it's the same house. Monthly rent: $2300.
