This house looks like it has a ton of potential, if you can get past the whitewashed wood paneling and the wicker furniture (hey, at least it's by the beach so maybe that can be forgiven) and the hefty price tag. And do we spy a Heywood-Wakefield dining set? It's hard to tell. The listing for this 1940 two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath notes its "walls of glass" and "open floor plan on main floor with a charming deck off [the] dining area." There is also a master bedroom with an office and bath and a second bedroom. It's zoned for the Canyon Charter Elementary School, to boot. The house was last sold in 1996 for $625,000. Today's asking price: $1.629 million or $754 per square foot (priced just a hair under comps).
