The Los Angeles Times reported over the weekend that City Project has begun the process to filing a lawsuit suit against the city over the unfinished Ascot Hills Park in East LA. The park broke ground in 2006, but has sat padlocked and unfinished due a variety of budgetary and bureaucratic issues. This park may be cursed--it's been trying to open for for decades. "Community groups and conservationists have long feuded over plans for Ascot Hills, which was first proposed as a city park in 1930." [LA Times]
