Big week for Circuit City-related news. Anyone wishing the old Circuit City parking lot on Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake would be turned some 70s-era weekend roller disco scene should lobby the nearby Children's Hospital, which has signed a five-year lease for the site. "At the moment, we are using [the lot] for much-needed overflow parking for staff while construction continues on our New Hospital Building, which is scheduled to open in mid-2011," writes Steve Rutledge, a spokesperson for the hospital. This is just the lot they're using, not the Circuit City building, so we'll all wait to see what happens with that dinosaur.
