As mentioned recently, West Hollywood's preservation commission recently voted unanimously to designate Edward Fickett's 1954 condominium at 1400 Hayworth for a historic designation. The handsome, 38-unit complex--called the Hollywood Riviera--is just south of Sunset and in October was advertising a one bedroom, one bathroom for just under $500,000, but has since dropped by more than $50K. This top-floor unit is remodeled, and features a glam kitchen and views from the bedroom (hot!) and bathroom (weird!). Oh, and there's a heated, Melrose Place-y-type pool for residents. Apartments are available, too.
