With the mayor asking residents to evacuate certain neighborhoods (list here), local hotels are discounting rates for storm evacuees. The Whittier Daily Newsreports the Pasadena Hilton has a special rate of $99 per night, for example. Just call up ask for the "evacuee rate," reports the paper. And we're told the evacuee rager is going down in room 214, and that ice and Red Bull are requested. [WDN]
