CULVER CITY: The turn-over of galleries in Culver City continues, and this weekend, Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects moves to a new building at 6006 Washington Boulevard. The space was designed by architect and Sci-Arc faculty member Peter Zellner, who is also doing the Matthew Marks Gallery in West Hollywood. The gallery kicks off this Saturday with an exhibition by Rodney McMillian. Official site. [Curbed Inbox]

DOWNTOWN: And more Sci-Arc news. This weekend is the opening of Alexis Rochas's work " I/O: Still Robot." Probably best to bone up on your robo-speak before you hit the opening. Via the release: "Still Robot is a 1,000 square-foot case study introducing the OCTA.BOT system, the proprietary technology of I/O, which is comprised of eight swivel joints, and introduces the unique universal building system of freely rotating elements that expands on space-frame technology."
