The latest dish from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...
WEST HOLLYWOOD: Eater checks in for a sneak peek at Adolfo Suaya and Ryan Sweeney's soon-to-open Surly Goat (pictured) on Santa Monica. While the opening is still held up in red tape, the beer menu looks to be extensive, with "100 bottles, 28 beers on tap, plus aged wines, fine spirits and reserve liquors."
HOLLYWOOD: The spectacularly uncreatively named Melgard Public House (on the corner of Melrose and Gardner, natch) is soft opening tomorrow without its liquor license. That should be coming along in within a week, so in the meantime enjoy traditional pub fare without the beer.
SANTA MONICA: Top Chef runner-up Stefan Richter might be building an empire. After taking over the LA Farm space in the strangest office park in Santa Monica, he's now opening a second location, Stefan's on Montana, on (where else?) Montana and 15th in a "couple of weeks."
