City Councilman Richard Alarcon is now stating a squatter broke into his house so safety reasons are behind his decision to live in a home outside his district, according to the LA Times. A neighbor seems to corroborate the break-in story. But, uh, did the squatter break in because Alarcon never lived there? We'll have to wait on that answer. [LA Times]
