Sending in the above photo of the intersection at Lincoln and Palms blvds, a reader writes: "This intersection on Lincoln Blvd. was the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident two weeks ago, and has been the scene of non-fatal accidents and many close calls. After the fatality, some community people contacted [City Councilman Bill] Rosendahl's office and Caltrans, (Lincoln is a state highway) which responded that they would consider diagonally striping the intersection, but it would be several months before they could get to it. So two different groups (or individuals) have taken matters into their own hands." According to our tipster, the two groups put up the guerrilla road signs last night. This view is looking west, across Lincoln.
