The latest dish from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...
BEVERLYGROVE: Eater offers a sneak peek at the forthcoming Eva restaurant (pictured) in the Hatfield's space. According to Eater, the restaurant is scheduled to open Sept 8 and "Eva will offer free corkage, and a reasonable priced dinner menu with first courses priced between $8 to $12, and entrees between $14 and $21."
WESTLAKE: Even Jonathan Gold's copious praise couldn't save it. Chichen Itza, the Mexican restaurant specializing in Yucatán cooking, has shuttered. Now you'll need to travel to the original stand in Mercado La Paloma near USC for their cochinito pibil.
PASADENA: Goodbye Spitfire Saloon, hello French brasserie Cheval Blanc. Look for the new restaurant on De Lacey Ave in two weeks.
