A wildfire has burned five acres in Griffith Park, reports the Mercury News. "City fire spokesman Greg Acevedo says the fire was reported just before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near the zoo on the park's northeastern edge. At least four water-dropping aircraft are making runs over the blaze, which is burning out of control." Well, it was "out of control" an hour ago.
