British-based CPC, the development firm run by one of the Candy brothers, has released a statement to the Financial Times in regards to the recent lawsuit filed in New York State by lender Carlos Slim's Grupo Financiero Inbursa over the loan default on 9900 Wilshire. "We are still in negotiations with the lender group and any legal claims against us are purely tactical and we will defend such claims vigorously."
