Next Boom, How About Not Everything Gets Approved?

Another alarming example of castle architecture, this is Jasmine Villas, a 27-unit project at 3636 Jasmine Avenue in West LA. According to city clerk records, the West Los Angeles Area Planning Commission approved demolition of two duplexes and a single family dwelling to put up this project. Who knows the condition of those existing buildings, but the developer on this new project is listed at James Frost, who looks to be one half of Frost/Chaddock, the team behind that castle-like Versailles project off Olympic. And it looks like this project has been PriceChopped: A 1,342 square foot two-bedroom that was $649,000 is now listed at $529,000.
