Welcome to this version of "New To Market," our look at a listing with a reader vote. Consider this an unscientific way to take the buying pulse of a wary public. Feedback and nominees to the tipline, please.
This three-bedroom, one-and-three-quarter bath is almost exactly in line with neighborhood comps. Maybe sellers are finally listening? The listing is a bit effusive with the adjectives: "majestic," "stunning," "gorgeous" and "beautiful." Laying it on a bit thick for a relatively simple Tudor. The living room has high ceilings, there's a large den, an balcony off the second floor, and a fireplace. The house was last sold in February 1997 for $250,000. Today's asking price is $575,000 or $379 per square foot, just a smidge higher than neighborhood comps around $368 per square foot. Listing is here.
