The Pasadena-Star News reports on the Baldwin Adobe Restoration Committee's efforts to restore the Hugo Reid Adobe at the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia, a structure which was previously restored, but is now deteriorating. The group is looking to recreate the adobe to how it looked in 1875 when Elias "Lucky" Baldwin, who built the Santa Anita racetrack, lived there.
