The plan to remake San Pedro's waterfront has fallen off our radar since plans were announced many, many moons ago, but here's the latest, courtesy of the Daily Breeze: "After more than a decade of community wrangling and a series of plans that fell by the wayside, the Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners is poised next week to consider a $1.2 billion waterfront redevelopment plan aimed at reviving the image and economy of San Pedro." What's being proposed: A second cruise ship terminal, retail, a new plaza, three new berths, and more. [DB]
