From the Annals of Completely Pointless iPhone Apps: Should you want your iPhone to sound like a high-concept hotel lobby designed by Philippe Starck, there's is indeed an app for that. (Starck designed the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills). Via TechCrunch: "24 Hours: The Starck Mix... is a 24-hour soundtrack streamed to your iPhone, meant to be an audio tribute to French designer Philippe Starck." The mix is free and only available for 30 days and shows the time, streaming ambient music and sounds. If it really was meant to evoke a Starck-designed hotel it would feature trashy Europop and the nasally whine of wannabe reality stars. [TechCrunch; image via]
