Coyotes need a new publicist, because they seem to be having a bad week. First, a coyote ran off with Jessica Simpson's malti-poo in Beverly Hills. Now, after two people in Griffith Park report being bitten by coyotes, trackers have been called in to trap and shoot them (the coyotes, not the people). According to the LA Times, seven coyotes have been killed so far. Hey, here's an idea. How about falling asleep in your house instead of near Travel Town, where one man woke up to find a coyote biting his foot. The trappers don't know if any of the coyotes they've killed was actually the foot nibbler. [LA Times]
