The latest dish from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...
BEVERLY HILLS: One Kelly Wearstler-redesign later, and the Avalon Beverly Hills Hotel has a new look and a new restaurant. Mirko Paderno takes the reins of the new Italian restaurant in the hotel, oliverio (pictured). It's currently in a soft opening and will fully debut later this month.
CULVER CITY: Expect two new eateries in the old Stellar True Value Hardware space on Main. Libra will be a Korean-Brazilian BBQ restaurant where diners pick their ingredientts and chefs cook them on the spot (which sounds neither Korean nor Brazilian to us). And down the street is Lunch. Guess what they plan to serve there. Eventually, the owner plans to branch out to...dinner.
HOLLYWOOD: While Hollywood Blvd club Mood shutters and revamps, owner David Judaken soft opens East not far from there. The "modern Asian eatery" is open "with very limited reservations" until it officially opens October 6th. There's a raw bar, sashimi and some Asian/French fusion.
