At least when it comes to earthquake drills. The USC Annenberg School’s Norman Lear Center surveyed 3,000 Southern Californians who participated in last year's earthquake drill, ShakeOut, and found 97 percent supported the idea of making it an annual event. Who were the three percent that thought it would be a bad idea? Fortunately, the California State Senate passed a resolution to support annual statewide drills. The next Drill will be on Oct. 15 at 10:15 a.m. Get ready to stop, drop and roll. [Norman Lear Center]
