The Downtown News' photographer Gary Leonard reveals that the long-swathed Garnier and Brunswig buildings near the Pico House at Olvera Street have now been unveiled. He tells the paper: “I was at Pico House yesterday, and like most construction sites, I monitor them when I can. This building had been wrapped so that the dust wouldn’t fly as they were doing restoration, so this has been under literal wraps for at least two years, probably longer."
