WEST HOLLYWOOD: Eater offers the first look inside at Philippe (pictured) in the old Dolce space on Melrose. The restaurant marks the fifth one for Philippe Chow, but the first in LA. The space will seat 175 with an additional private cellar for groups of up to 14.
HOLLYWOOD: It seems new places are still opening on the Cahuenga Corridor. Who knew? Just opened -- Vinolio -- an Italian eatery from chef Andy Pastore (Michael's, Granita). Dinner is served Monday through Saturday.
LOS ANGELES: Sure, there are plenty of gourmet food trucks roaming the streets. But none serving grilled cheese. Until now. Coming soon, The Grilled Cheese Truck with the aforementioned melted frommage, as well as mac and cheese, tomato soup, and some fancier concoctions as well.
