What It Sold For: Eugene Kinn Choy's Chew House

New, 9 comments

Back in March we noticed this mid-century home on the market in Los Feliz. Designed by Chinese-American architect Eugene Kinn Choy (who also designed the Cathay Bank building in Chinatown), the four-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath house featured original tiles, a saltwater pool, and a 700 square foot pool house with a wet bar. The 3,183 square foot property was previously sold in June 2006 for $1.655 million. The original listing price was $1.85 million or $581 per square foot. It sold in June for $1.69 million - given the economy, we'd say even a slight bump above a 2006 sales price is not bad at all. The full slideshow of the house is here.
