First the blue corner mailboxes started disappearing around LA. And then there was talk of Penny Saver-less Tuesdays. Now the post office's financial straits may lead to closures, and the US Postal service is considering closing 3,200 stations (that's 10% of all the stations nationwide). They've released a list of offices considered for closure; of the five LA stations, Inglewood is disproportionately represented with four possibly closing (Redondo Beach is also mentioned).
