Emboldened after winning a lawsuit against restaurant owners, taco truck owners are now taking on the LAPD, who they claim are harassing them. The Loncheros Association - a recently formed association of taco truck owners - have filed a formal complaint with the LA Police Commission, alleging cops "have been threatening Hispanic truck operators and trying to get them to move their businesses to other parts of the city." Via ABC's local web site, the allegations, claim ""it just seems to go beyond the scope of what a police office should be doing, contacting people on their personal cell phones, going to their homes, you know, just really crossing the line in that sense," according to Erin Glenn from the Loncheros Association.
