Westchester to Become Less Smelly

New, 5 comments

After years of tension between Loyola Marymount University and homeowners along Westchester's McConnell Avenue over the school's recycling and waste processing center, the two have reached an agreement over "limiting noise and odors emitting" from the center, reports the Daily Breeze. A 17-year-old resident paints the scene. "The worst was the noise," Dan Horwood tells the paper. "There were crushing sounds at all hours - there was a huge trash compactor 12 feet from someone's backyard." This follows all those other problems emitting from the school. [Daily Breeze]
