DOWNTOWN: "Top Chef" winner Ilan Hall has finally opened his tribute to Jewish-Scottish food in the Alexandria Hotel. The Gorbals (pictured above) starts serving tonight.
BRONSON CANYON: Residents of the The Oaks will have to wait a bit longer for their Cake Monkey sweets and Marley Coffee. The Oaks Gourmet Market has pushed back its opening by a month to mid-September.
CULVER CITY: Is he or isn't he? Is chef Ludo Lefebvre moving into the old Rita Flora space on La Brea now that LudoBites is over? Ludo denies it, but Eater reports before a possible Rita Flora move, he plans to open a second "pop up" restaurant in Culver City in October that is similar in concept to LudoBites.
