WEST HOLLYWOOD: Word from WeHo that the city is unveiling a bronze marker commemorating the first California marriages of same-sex couples, which took place in West Hollywood in June of 2008. The marker, to be unveiled September 8 at a city council meeting at the West Hollywood Park Auditorium, will make its permanent home at West Hollywood Park and will be emblazoned with a quote from Nelson Mandela.
