Last time there was a check of the NFL stadium, John Semcken, vice president at Majestic, said the company was looking to settle with the city of Walnut, which has been fighting the project. Is there going to be a settlement? This Pasadena Star News story seems to nix the settlement idea. And the piece notes that Walnut's total cost of fighting the project has reached $470,000, a cost that city officials defend, but a igure which concerns some residents. "I'm concerned about the amount of money we're spending per week (on the stadium)," one resident tells the paper. "It appears we're fighting a losing battle anyway. It seems we're spending taxpayer dollars uselessly." Previous story. [PSN]
