If Hollywood needs an new enemy, it may want to consider old friend squid, who apparently is not such a friend. ABC7 has all the details about this new threat: "An estimated one million Humboldt squid have taken up residence off of the California coast. The squid, which can grow up to the size of a man, have razor-sharp beaks and toothy tentacles." Diver Scott Cassell tells the paper: "They will kill and eat a human being. I've documented the human attacks in the Sea of Cortez and I've interviewed fishermen who have watched other fishermen die." [ABC7]
