Earlier this year, the California Coastal Commission was essentially asked to get in between a fight involving the RVers and Venice residents fighting for restricted parking rules (that would hamper RV parking). Saying it wasn't the commission job's "to be the balance between homeless and residents," the CCC voted against allowing overnight parking restrictions. And now the LA Times' Martha Groves is reporting a group of Venice residents have sued the California Coastal Commission over that decision. [LA Times]
