It was just a year ago we covered the listing for this two-bedroom, two-bathroom house in Culver City. It never sold, and now it's available for rent--same cool exterior, same small, high windows (but now with some brighter pictures). Realtor Eric Smilay tells us the 1,000 square foot-house, which comes with gated parking and a small backyard, has been on the rental market for about a month, and undergone a rent chop from $2,695 to $2,400. He also says the designer/owner and his kids have been living there. Smilay's explanation for why it hasn't rented yet? "People keep showing up and telling me that the property's not in Venice."
