After yesterday's Edward Fickett find, we present to you yet another under-appreciated mid-century architect, Hal Levitt. Levitt is a favorite among the Hollywood elite, with celebrities like Steven Spielberg and Jennifer Aniston owning Levitt homes at one time or another. This six-bedroom, five-and-a-half 1959 house in Beverly Hills sits on 1.5 acres and includes a main house (four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths) and guest house (two more bedrooms and baths). There's also a tennis court, a saltwater pool, and, according to the listing, "a seamless indoor/outdoor flow, clean lines and large walls of glass." It was sold in Oct 2003 for $2.925 million, then again in July of last year for $7.2 million. Today's asking price, a mere year later: $7.8 million.
