Via LAObserved comes a 1985 video of legendary LA writer Charles Bukowski giving a tour of Hollywood and Western while cruising in the backseat of an old convertible. The lovable drunk points out the dope dealers, "the woman who isn't a hooker," and the sex shops of the area. What's changed in 24 years? Now there's a subway stop, a giant hot dog, a hint of gentrification, and a Starbucks. [LA Observed]
