Meet Martin Brower

New, 1 comment

The Jewish Journal profiles cute old Jewish man Martin A. Brower and reviews his book, Los Angeles Jew: A Memoir. Brower was born in 1928 and his family lived in Boyle Heights, West Adams, Santa Monica, Venice, and El Sereno before movin' on up to the at-the-time newly-Jewish neighborhood Fairfax. Later he went to UCLA and worked in public relations for architect Welton Becket (the Capitol Records Building) and land developers the Irvine Company, and we bet he has cute old Jewish man stories to tell about all of it.
