Uhh, blocky. But continuing the tour of recently completed or nearly completed rental buildings, check out this new apartment complex at Bundy and Wilshire. Rising seven stories high, the West Wilshire Towers houses 20 units—all 1,800 square feet, and all three- bedroom, two and half-bath units. Leasing rep Farinaz Shayan tells us move-ins should begin in September and the apartments will rent for about $2,950 (units not facing Wilshire will be a tad more expensive because of the added quiet). The building isn't mixed-use, but there are plenty of amenities around, including numerous grocery stores, bus lines, and the hopping Literati Cafe right across the street. This project (tours are taking place this weekend; call number for details) is not far from the proposed residential tower at Wilshire and Barrington, which seems dead in the water.
