The last time there was a check of the stalled CB Lofts project at 1220 Orange Grove in West Hollywood, the development was 90 percent finished, but slated to be sold off in bulk. Didn't happen. Listing agent Elaine Golden-Gealer says the bank refused offers on the project and decided to just resume work on the project themselves. "Other developers wanted to pay pennies on the dollar," she says, explaining why the bank refused the offers. According to Golden-Gealer, the original developer is still involved (it's not clear in what capacity), and the 12 units (average square footage is 1,950 square feet) are expected to hit the market in mid-August. No immediate word on prices.
