New to Market: Now That's A Flip, Silver Lake

New, 46 comments

Ah, Silver Lake real estate makes people quivery. And Silver Lake flips make people crazy. This 1920s cottage sold in February 2009 for $210,000, but has been totally rehabbed, according to listing agent Matt Manner, and put back on the market for $399,000. "I expect it to get $500,000," says Manner, explaining the home is basically "a whole new house." The home--described as a cottage in the listing-- is about 800 square feet-900 square feet, has two-bedrooms, two-baths, and was staged by Bettershelter.com* (they also helped with the interior work). It's located on Brier Avenue, off Glendale, and what looks to be walking distance to Gingergrass restaurant and the new Silver Lake library.
