Via blogdowntown comes news that affordable housing provider The Amerland Group is planning to purchase the Rosslyn Hotel on 5th and Main for more than $10 million. The company already owns our favorite efficiency "micro-lofts" the Rosslyn Lofts and the Alexandria. The building was previously in escrow with NY-based Common Ground but the plan to provide supportive housing for the homeless upset neighbors, so it fell through. [blogdowntown]
