Development Du Jour: The Mews in Atwater Village

New, 15 comments

Another one of the developments that'll take advantage of the city's small lot ordinance, which allows developers to build single-family homes or detached town houses on a single parcel of land, the under-construction Mews will offer 23 single family homes at 4255-4310 Perlita Avenue in Atwater Village. Developed by RLG Properties and designed by local architects Corsini + Stark, the project will offer townhomes ranging from 1,500 square feet- 1,600 square feet (plus 2 car garages) with details such as outdoor courtyards, oversize windows, and 14 foot ceiling heights (in the master bedrooms.) Give us your pitch, sales agent Jerry Hoffman. "These homes are nearly 20% larger than most homes in the area, yet will be priced lower than other similar sized homes in Atwater Village," he writes in an email. According to Hoffman, the first homes of Phase I are are scheduled to hit the market around Labor Day, and while pricing hasn't been hammered out yet, they are expected to be under $400 a square foot. And of course, the development has a blog.
