A reliable source passes on word that Fox Interactive Media is definitely out of Playa Vista. Last year, Fox Interactive Media signed a lease for about 421,000 square feet of space at the new Johnson Fain-designed office complex Horizon at Playa Vista, and announced they'd move about 2,000 employees to the space. Last week, the chatter was that Fox Interactive Media had put 150,000 square feet up for sublease, and there were rumors they were looking to sublease all that fancy Class A office space. Last month, Fox Interactive Media's parent company News Corp. reported that ad revenue fell 16 percent at Fox Interactive Media in the first quarter 2009 from a year earlier, according to Brandweek.
