Despite the foreclosure of one of their parcels in Woodland Hills, Heidi Mather, senior vice president of development at Irvine, Texas-based JPI, tells us one of their other projects--the hulking Jefferson at Hollywood project--is on track. This is the under-construction project across from Hollywood and Highland that'll offer 271 rentals and 8,500 square feet of retail. The development can be seen in the photo of this morning's great truck snafu. "It is full steam ahead," she says of the project. Good to hear. Still, like everyone else, the company has been hit hard, according to many sources. They're no longer involved in the Hampton at South Bay project in Torrance (a development which may or may not have been in foreclosure, according to rumor (and apartment gossip boards). Mather referred us to another JPI rep for Hampton at South Bay, but no one returned calls.
