Located at the edge of Griffith Park and known as the Maurice Seiderman Residence and Studio, this home was built by architect Clyde Grimes in 1956. More about both men via the listing: "Seiderman, a make-up artist best known for his work on "Citizen Kane", commissioned Grimes, who earned his architecture degree in 1950 following his service in WWII as a member of the now celebrated African-American pilot corps known as the Tuskegee Airmen." The original home and studio were combined to create a three-bedroom, three-bath home, according to the listing. But does it need work? "Following restoration, a new owner will have the rare opportunity to experience a classically modern space with hi ceilings, dramatic open interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows on one of the top sites in the H. Hills." The owners are asking $2 million, while the home last sold in 1987 for $646,000. Which was probably soooo much money back then.
