Rough Days for Transit Riders

New, 1 comment

Following the D.C. train crash that killed nine people comes news that at least seven people were hurt today in a Pasadena bus accident. A Pasadena transit bus—as opposed to a Metro bus—jumped the curb during a traffic collision with a Toyota Camry and struck a bus bench at 10:30 a.m., authorities told the Los Angeles Times. The accident, which sent seven people to the hospital with moderate injuries, occurred at the northeast corner of Raymond Avenue and Holly Street, and knocked down a traffic pole, a FedEx drop-off box, and the bench. It's not clear whose fault the wreck was. This looks to have happened right near the soon-to-be new offices of KPCC. [LA Times]
