Trolley to the Sea?

Will he or won't he? Is he a failure or a success? Mayor Villaraigosa has been playing it coy the past few weeks about possibly running for governor in 2010. Today the wait might be over. According to LA Now, the mayor is expected to announce definitively whether or not he will run for governor on CNN today during Wolf Blitzer's "The Situation Room." What does this mean the Mayor's pet projects, like the Subway to the Sea? And does this mean that developer Rick Caruso, who bowed out of this year's race, could eventually run in a special election?
