Ah yes, we remember it well. The former Maurice Chevalier house was put on the market earlier this year by Laurie Frank, a screenwriter and gallery owner known for her eclectic parties and social gatherings. The five bedroom, three bath house, which sits in a Historic Preservation Overlay Zone was on the market after being rebuilt when it was almost destroyed in a fire for $1.495 million. Well, the house sold, for almost exactly asking price. In April the house, which features teak floors and doors from Morocco, sold for $1.501 million. Take the whole tour here.
